International Women's Day: Hon. Gbenga Ayinde Adewusi 'Arole' Celebrates Women's Achievements and Advocates for Gender Equality
As the world marks International Women's Day, Hon. Gbenga Ayinde Adewusi 'Arole', Former Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government (2003-2010) and Former Chairman of Oyo State Sports Council (2020-2023), joins the global community in celebrating the achievements of women and advocating for gender equality.

This year's theme, "#AccelerateAction", emphasizes the need for collective action to advance gender equality and women's empowerment. Hon. Adewusi 'Arole' reaffirms his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote women's economic empowerment, education, and healthcare.

"As we celebrate International Women's Day, let us remember the incredible contributions women make to our society. Let us also acknowledge the challenges they face and work together to create a more inclusive and equitable world," said Hon. Adewusi 'Arole'.

To commemorate this special day, Hon. Adewusi 'Arole' calls on individuals, organizations, and governments to:

- Promote Women's Economic Empowerment: Support initiatives that provide women with access to education, training, and economic opportunities.
- Advance Women's Education: Ensure that girls and women have access to quality education, from primary to tertiary levels.
- Protect Women's Health: Support initiatives that provide women with access to quality healthcare services, including reproductive health and maternal care.
