"As I stated during the 11th Omituntun Ramadan Lecture, I will reveal who I will be supporting for the 2027 gubernatorial elections sometime in January 2026," Governor Makinde announced. "However, it is ultimately up to you, the good people of Oyo State, to decide if you want continuity."

Governor Makinde expressed his gratitude to the people of Oyo State for their continued support, stating that the accolades his administration has received are a celebration of their support.

With a little over two years left in his tenure, Governor Makinde reaffirmed his commitment to delivering sustainable development to the people of Oyo State. His administration will continue to focus on:
