Specifically, the petitioners failed to provide their contact address, telephone number(s), and e-mail address(es) in the covering letter, as mandated by INEC's Regulations and Guidelines.

This omission is a significant procedural flaw, and INEC is now attempting to reach the petitioners through alternative means. Once the petition meets all submission requirements, INEC will proceed to verify the signatures in an open process at polling units, using the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) to ensure authenticity.
