As Christians worldwide mark the beginning of the Lenten season, I, Mogaji Oluwole Akinwale Mogaji Mato Royal Family, of Ibadan North East/Ibadan South East Federal Constituency, extend warm Ash Wednesday greetings to all constituents, particularly the Christian community.
Ash Wednesday, observed on March 5th this year, is a solemn reminder of human mortality and the need for reconciliation with God. It marks the commencement of the 40-day Lenten period of prayer, fasting, and reflection, leading up to Easter Sunday.
