The Oyo State Government, led by Governor Seyi Makinde, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Semmaris, France, in Paris, aimed at developing a modern agri-food market. This partnership seeks to enhance the state's agricultural sector and improve food security.

The partnership aims to increase agricultural productivity and competitiveness in Oyo State, improve food availability and accessibility, and generate employment and economic growth in the state.
Semmaris, a French company, has extensive experience in managing wholesale markets, including the largest wholesale fresh food market in Rungis, France. This expertise will be leveraged to support Oyo State's agricultural development.

This partnership between Oyo State and Semmaris, France, is a significant step towards modernizing the state's agricultural sector and improving food security.
