Ladoja leads Ibadan chiefs to condole  Olunloyo, Adeojo families
The  Ibadan South East Local Government Traditional council chiefs led by Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja rose from their monthly  meeting today to condole with Olunloyo and Adeojo families over the passing of their patriarchs.
Victor Olunloyo, a former Oyo State Governor  and illustrious son of Ibadanland died on Sunday, while Chief Yekeen Adeojo,renowned businessman and former Deputy National chairman of People's Democratic Party,PDP died last Friday. Chief  Adeojo was Ekefa Olubadan and member, Ibadan South East Traditional council until his death. 
At the Iyaganku,Ibadan residence of late Chief Adeojo this afternoon, the Maye Olubadan and spokesman of the team,Chief Lekan Alabi extolled the virtues of the late politician. According to him,Adeojo displayed industry,tact and strength of character in every assignment given to him, which included but not limited to his days in the Nigerian Army, Party politics, aviation, business and boardroom politics. He recalled that Chief Adeojo was a Director at Odua Group at a time, saying those who had reason to be in the same board with him   bear testimony to his leadership qualities. He said the family had every reason to take solace in Chief  Adeojo's exemplary lifetime. 
Speaking on behalf of the family,the son of the deceased and Chairman, Ido Local Government, Sherrif Adeojo appreciated Oba Ladoja and the delegation from Ibadan South East Local Government Traditional council for their thoughts,visit and prayer.
At the Molete,Ibadan residence of Dr Olunloyo, the delegation described the renowned mathematician,engineer and technocrat as a rare gem,whose exit would be felt. Chief  Lekan Alabi who spoke on  behalf of the council, said former Governor Olunloyo led an impactful life,even beyond the narrow frontiers of the family. He said Dr Olunloyo was not only cerebral, he loved education with a passion. According to him, Olunloyo was one of the most versatile human beings who could speak on a  wide range of subjects with little or no notice.He said that as an engineer and mathematician, Olunloyo was well at home with music, literature, theology and philosophy.He prayed God to raise more of Olunloyos not only in Ibadan but the humanity as a whole.Speaking on behalf of the family, the widow,Mrs Ronke Olunloyo thanked the delegation. She remarked that Oba Ladoja was one of the closest people to the late Gov ernor.He said that once the family settles to discuss the final burial programme in collaboration with the Oyo State Government, the public will be adequately informed.
