This meeting marks a significant milestone as, for the first time, a comprehensive work plan for the State Committee on Nutrition has been developed prior to implementation. This structured approach sets the stage for improved coordination, enabling effective monitoring and tracking of activities across all relevant ministries. This also will ensure a budget line for each line ministry.

Speaking at the meeting, Hon. Babalola emphasized that "with order, progress is not far-fetched." He noted that this forward-thinking strategy would ensure that each line ministry is aligned with the state’s nutrition goals, leading to impactful and measurable results.

This development highlights Oyo State’s commitment to proactive governance and underscores the importance of nutrition as a foundational pillar for sustainable development.
