Suspension: FIBSU National debunk the illegal suspension of FIBSU National President Aare Fakolade Anuoluwapo, ready to lawfully handle the perpetrators

The attention of Fibsu National Executives has been drawn to a news circulating around that the Fibsu National President has been suspended.

Normally, such illegal news doesn't warrant a reaction from us,but to set the record straight, the suspended speaker of the association doesn't have any power to suspend the President nor any members of the executive Council.

It's on record that Fibsu General congress held on 26th of August, suspended the Speaker and also dissolve the parliament.

After the congress, the suspended speaker
accepted all the allegations levelled against him by the general congress and he also drop all parliamentary properties in his possession including the maze of the house.

The National executives of FIBSU National Council led by Aare TIMFAK shows their  disatisfaction over the illegal suspension of their president by an unrecognized and heartless boy parading himself as the existing speaker of the house which is a total stain to FIBSU National Council and all her member atlarge,The National executives reacted further that it is a big slap to the whole ibadan indigenes if someone that has been duly and lawfully suspended by dissolving the house  is claiming to be her speaker by the General congress.

Sowande Ayomide Boluwatife is an ingrate, sowande who is a student of Ondo state university okitipupa was considered the speaker of the house out of pity,he was compensated with speakership position because his school lost in the last FIBSU National election which produced TIMFAK led administration, FIBSU has not been inaugurated in the same school Ondo state university Sowande Ayomide is claiming as his chapter till date but due to the large heart and magnanimosity of Aare TIMFAK he was allowed to remain the speaker until his total rejection and dissolvement of the house he is claiming to lead on 26th of August 2022.

The National executives reiterated that Sowande Ayomide lacks moral ethics if he can submit himself to be used by enemies of progress whom have not recovered from the shock of the last National election which produced this current ever performing administration,it is no doubt that those that attacked the Ibadan indigeniosity  of Showande Ayomide during the last election are very correct because his stupid action and reaction proved him as one, if not, his Ona-Ara based leaders would not forced him to hold a kangaroo meeting in a secondary school called elekuro High school to take stupid decision of suspending our ever working president Aare TIMFAK.it is so degrading to the most rated and valued indigenous student body in Nigeria to hold her monthly congress of highly cerebral students of Ibadan in a secondary school and not higher institution or our father's house CCII house, oke Aremo Ibadan.

It is so sardonic that one time FIBSU National speaker like you can engaged himself in impersonation of chapters of both the active and inactive schools which have totally discredit your personality by them coming out to debunk their involvement in your selfish decision and kangaroo meeting report.

Sowande is hereby warned to stop parading himself as the speaker of Fibsu National, if not,he will face the full wrath of the law.

We are also using this medium to direct all chapters to debunk the fabricated lies by Sowande Ayomide and his Ona-Ara based leaders, any chapter that refused to debunk it,shall be lawfully and constitutionally punished at the in-house sitting and general congress of next month.

Signed
FIBSU National Executives

If we want a truly restructured Nigeria, it should begin with the structures in our party - Makinde write Baba Ashipa

Oyo State Governor His Excellency Engr Oluseyi Makinde FNSE writes to PDP Chieftain Chief Ismaila Ashipa today explain his stands on the crisis rocking the party in Federation this was gathered through Baba Ashipa Timeline on Facebook tagged: THE BUSINESS of GOVERNANCE
Newsletter 45
Dated: September 2022

Dear Ismaila Osuolale Ashipa,

How have you been?

My break is finally over, and I must say it’s good to be back in Oyo State.

After all the activities of the first week of my break, I finally got down to reading my book of the month. Reading this book allowed me to reflect on many things that have been happening in our country and, indeed, our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party. It is not news that our party has been locked in crisis. Many people have wondered what is really going on and what my personal stand on issues are. Before discussing that, let me share my takeaway from reading my book of the month.

I have been reading “Nigeria: Africa’s Failed Asset?” written by Sir Olaniwun Ajayi KJW. One important point the author made in this book is about the foundational structural imbalance Nigeria has suffered from independence. We are still grappling with some of these foundational issues.

Nigeria’s many years of military dictatorship, which ran government with a unitary chain of command, further worsened issues.

More recently, we have seen these structural issues show up in conversations about where the next president should come from – North or South. Sometimes, these conversations overshadow talks about competence and the ability of individuals to deliver on their mandate.

To be honest, it is almost impossible to achieve a balance between deciding on
on which should be prioritised when it comes to picking a president -region or competence. It is almost as if we are asking people to choose between fairness and achieving the best results.

Even if we are getting the best results, can we really say we are developed if the federating units feel cheated or unheard? On the other hand, if we are fixated on where the next president will come from, will we have a country if we continue to sink into economic depression and insurgents overrun a section of the country?

At the end of the day, one thing becomes clear: We must begin in earnest to think of how to structure and restructure our country to create a just and fair society for all, both economically and socially.

And that brings me back to the crisis in the PDP right now. First, let me clarify that I still believe that our party is the sure path to creating the Nigeria we all dream of. And so, the fight in our party is about inclusivity and attainment of the intent and content of the independence our fathers fought for. If we want a truly restructured Nigeria, it should begin with the structures in our party. If we want a real federation, we should see a reflection of a FEDERAL Republic of Nigeria in the PDP. Talk to you again soon.

Seyi Makinde.
