"ASIWAJU Oluyole Unshaken as Qudus Omoola Calls Out Critics for Peddling False Narratives"
"ASIWAJU Oluyole Unshaken as Qudus Omoola Calls Out Critics for Peddling False Narratives"
In a fresh but desperate attempt to divert attention from the steady progress in Oluyole Local Government, a group of unnamed individuals has launched an unfounded smear campaign against the Executive Chairman, ASIWAJU Engr Akeem Olatunji.
These detractors clearly uncomfortable with the rising profile of the Chairman have taken to social media, spreading baseless allegations in a futile attempt to tarnish his image. But no false allegation can shake the confidence of the good people of Oluyole, whose daily realities reflect the development taking place under his leadership. The transformation is tangible, undeniable, and deeply felt across communities.
Reacting to these developments, Qudus, popularly known as Omoola, the Special Assistant on Media to the Executive Chairman, released a firm statement denouncing the actions of the unnamed individuals.
“What we are witnessing is nothing but attention-seeking. These individuals are uncomfortable with the Chairman’s success and would rather throw mud than face facts. No amount of blackmail or digital noise can derail Engineer Akeem Olatunji’s mission is to serve the good people of Oluyole,” Omoola stated.
Omoola emphasized that while these online distractors hide behind anonymity, the results of the Chairman’s leadership are visible and undeniable from Skill acquisition, infrastructure development to community empowerment programs.
“It is unfortunate that instead of joining hands to support progress, some individuals would rather hide under fake identities to create confusion. But the good people of Oluyole are wiser. They know the truth. The development projects, improved local governance, and inclusive policies speak for themselves.”
He also added a direct message to those behind the attacks:
“We invite anyone with genuine ideas or contributions to come forward. Criticism is welcome when it is constructive. But hiding under the cloak of falsehood is not politics, it’s desperation. Engineer Akeem Olatunji is focused, undistracted, and committed to delivering on his mandate.”
As Oluyole continues to experience steady development under the current administration, it is becoming increasingly clear that distractions from a few discontented voices will not hold back the wheel of progress.
Once again, the people can see through the noise and the truth, as always, remains unshaken.

Olatinji in his birthday felicitations to the duo lauded their selflessness and dedication to public service while helping the governor drive his vision for the state in their individual capacities. In his congratulatory message on Saturda, May 10, Olatinji celebrated both individuals not just for marking another year of life, but for their outstanding service and contributions to the progress of Oyo State so far.
He described them as exemplary leaders whose professional achievements and dedication to public service continue to inspire the younger generation.
“The Commissioner for Lands, Hon. Williams Akin-Funmilayo, has been an important figure in the state’s ongoing urban development and land reform efforts.
“Under his stewardship, the Ministry of Lands has implemented far-reaching policies that have streamlined land documentation processes, attracted real estate investments, and resolved long-standing land disputes.
“His approach to transparent governance and infrastructural planning has earned him accolades from both state officials and private stakeholders, and there’s no better time to celebrate him specially than on his special day like this,” Olatinji said.
Furthermore, Olatunji said, “Engr. Muftau Open Salawu has distinguished himself as a passionate technocrat with a strong legacy in engineering and civic development.
“As the Executive Assistant to the governor on Project Monitoring in Oyo State, Engr. Salawu supervised major road rehabilitation projects and infrastructural upgrades that improved connectivity and safety across the state.
“Beyond his technical acumen, he remains a respected community leader and a traditional leader, advocating for youth empowerment and education through various philanthropic gestures at his hometown in Ogbomoso.
“Today, we celebrate not only their birthdays but their unrelenting dedication to the vision of our father and leader, Governor Seyi Makinde towards driving the economic growth of Oyo State.
“Hon. Akin-Funmilayo’s visionary reforms in land management and Engr. Salawu’s transformative infrastructure work are legacies that speak for themselves.
“On behalf of the people of Oluyole Local Government, I wish them continued strength, wisdom, and fulfillment in their service to humanity.”
