Today Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, represented by Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Kadri Hamzat, hosted Team Lagos athletes who participated in the 8th National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State, at the Banquet Hall, Lagos House, Ikeja. The event was a celebration of the team's outstanding performance, and the state government seized the opportunity to reward the athletes for their hard work.

Reward Breakdown:

- Gold Medalists: N200,000 each

- Silver Medalists: N150,000 each

- Bronze Medalists: N100,000 each

- Sports Association Coaches: N100,000 each

- Participating Athletes: N50,000 each

This gesture demonstrates Governor Sanwo-Olu's commitment to supporting and encouraging young athletes in Lagos State. The National Youth Games, which aim to breed and inspire future talents, have been a platform for Lagos athletes to shine.
