The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, will be honored with the Best Governor Award at the 2024 National Reunion Week of the Mufutau Olanihun Comprehensive High School Old Students Association (MULCHOSA).

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE, will be honored with the Best Governor Award at the 2024 National Reunion Week of the Mufutau Olanihun Comprehensive High School Old Students Association (MULCHOSA).
The event is set to take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the school premises in Oremeji, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ibadan, Oyo State.

In a statement jointly signed by MULCHOSA’s National President, Mr. Badmus Olatunji, and the Vice President and Chairman of the Programme Committee, Mr. Daniel Ayantoye, ANIPR, the association revealed that Governor Makinde was selected for the award in recognition of his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to education and infrastructure development in Oyo State.
A posthumous award will also be presented to the late Alhaji Mufutau Olanihun, the school’s founder, for his extraordinary philanthropic efforts in constructing and equipping multi-million-naira facilities, which he handed over to the state government.


The event will be chaired by the Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Professor AbdulWaheed Salihu, with Engr. Dotun Sanusi, CEO of Ilaji Resort, as the Father of the Day. The Guest Speaker for the occasion is Pastor Segun Ogungbayi, Managing Director of Star FM.

Other honorees include Prince Dotun Oyelade, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke, Hon. Ibrahim Salako, Hon. Waheed Akintayo, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, ACG Barr. Segun Adegoke (retd.), Hon. Adeyemo Adedeji Ola, Dr. Yinka Ayefele (MON), Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat, Alhaji Abdulrasak Abdulganeey, and others.

MULCHOSA boasts over 2,000 members spanning graduating sets from 1991 to 2023.
