On Sunday 11th December 2022, the governor of Oyo state, His Excellency Engr Oluseyi Makinde commends Team Oyo for making the record through their performance on just concluded National Sports Festival Delta 2022
H.E posted on his official Facebook handle which says:
"Another first in Oyo State. What an outing by the Oyo State contingent to the National Sports Festival Delta 2022! Congratulations to our team for the medals haul – 163 in total including 50 gold. We are all so proud of what you have achieved and will support you to do even more."
Through his post he also pledge to support
the sports Council and athletes
