Back to School: Ibadan North East agog as Legislative council and Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation distributes School items to 150 students

On Saturday 12th October 2024, Ibadan North East Legislative council in conjunction with Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation held a joint Education support for the pupils in Ibadan North East Local Government.

A memorable event which was took place at local government secretariat hall situated at Iwo road Ibadan, empowered almost one hundred and fifty (150) beneficiaries with a school bag worth of fifteen thousand naira (#15,000) and Exercise books worth of Five thousand Naira (#5,000).

Rt. Hon. Abdulmajeed  Igbalajobi, The leader of the house which also represent the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North East Local Government, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, stressed that the program was facilitated by the legislative council of the local government in other to support parents who needed support for the academy affairs of their ward and also to encourage these young lad to concentrate and face their study because education is the best legacy that can be given to them.

Professor Nafiu Musa, the coordinator of Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation Ibadan/Ibarapa Zone, appreciate the legislative arm of Ibadan North East Local Government for their support for the successful of this laudable program.
