The former President of Federal republic of Nigeria His Excellency Chief OLUSEGUN Obasanjo GCFR paid a condolence visit to Oba Olalekan Balogun palace to console the wives and the children of the late monarch
The Wives of the late monarch and Ekerin Olubadan Oba Hamidu Ajibade received the erstwhile president on behalf of Ibadan Oba council
On his speech Obasanjo condole with the entire families of the late monarch, Governor Seyi Makinde and the entire Ibadan people for the Loss of the late monarch. He described the late monarch as the man who cherished Yoruba culture and whom has elevate the royal system of Ibadan and restored back royal heritage of Ibadan land. He also stressed that he supposed to pay visit to Governor Seyi Makinde but the information reaching to him is that His Excellency is out of town
The Mogaji of Alli-iwo commend Obasanjo for playing fatherly role because is the father of Yoruba now and urged him not desert them because he is the father they have now
